This is Me!

My name is Elena Otero San Miguel. I am 21 years old.

I was born the 9th September of 1991 in Santander.

I had been studying in the same school since I was 4 years old until I was 18.

In 2009, I started my Teaching Training Diploma at the University of Cantabria. I finished it last year and in that moment I decided to study the course of adaptation to get a Degree in Primary Education.

I have been studying English since I was 4 at school, and since I was 6 in a private school of languages.

In my life I had some very good opportunities to improve my English, traveling abroad to English speaking countries such as Ireland and the United Kingdom. The first time, I was 15 and I spent a month in an Irish family; this experience made me improve my oral English a lot.

The second time, I did a school Exchange with an English school from a town near to London.

The first course I was at the University, I also prepared my B2 exam and I passed it. Nowadays, I am preparing my C1 exam and I hope I can pass it because I think English is very important in life, especially for teachers.

Talking about my profesional experience, I work as a karate teacher with primary-aged children.
In summer I work in an English Summer Camp as a free time monitor, which is very funny and it is another good oportunity to improve my English.
