From my window I can see some different parts
of the Santander’s landscape. Firstly, in the foreground of this picture, we
can see the rest of the building, my house belongs to. This building posses a
U-form and because of that has a very nice square which is so calm and peaceful
to stay in.
A bit further, we can find a steep street where
is located the Calasanz’s School, the place where I had studied for fourteen
years until I started my BA in Education at the university in 2009. You can
imagine that I can sleep a bit more in the mornings and still be on time at
school, lucky me! It has a small garden that you can see fin the middle of the
picture.
In the background, you can see one of the most
beautiful bays in the world and this image shows the two opposites faces of
Cantabria, the sea and the mountains. The bay os Santander is facing South and
provides us a breathless panoramic specially when the South wind blows.
On the other hand, we can see part of the
regions of our region. The first mountain we face is called “Peña Cabarga” and
It is about 600-meters-high.
In winter, it is wonderful the sight I have
from my window with all the snowed mountains in the background and some fishing
boats in the bay. This is a perfect contrast which makes me feel calm and
happy. In my opinion, I don’t change my window by any other in the world.
