Task 2: Who am I?

Hello, in this presentation I'm going to talk about Who I am.


My name is Elena Otero, I am 21 years old and I have been studying BA of Education for four years since I was 18.


I live in Santander. It is a very nice city in the North os Spain. The weather is very nice in summer and a bit rainy in winter. It has got a lot of beaches where you can go for a walk, running, sun-bathing or whatever you want.


My family is a very small one. I live with my parents and my elder brother. I only have four cousins, three girls and a boy and fortunately I get very well with all of them. My brother is three years and a half elder than me and he is a CHIEF INGINEER, as my dad. Nowadays I haven't got any pet, but some years ago I used to have a hamster and two lizards.


In my free time I like reading (in spanish but also in different languages), hicking in the mountains and all kinds of sports. The thing I like the most to do in my free time is practising Karate. I have been practising if for 13 years, and 3 years ago I became black belt. I am also a karate instructor too, I like it so much because I mix my passion with my profesional future. I like watching films too and of course, travelling abroad.


I studied in Calasanz school, located in the city center. I had studied 14 years there, since I was 4 until I was 18. I also do there the internship of my B.A. of Education. Most of my friends studied with me many years in the school and we carried on our friendship when we start in the university.


I decided to do this course because I think it could be useful to complete my studies. Specially, this subject could give me some tools to improve my knowledge of teaching-learnin process. This subject can be a good way to start our profesional carreer because nowadays teachers are required of being able to teach in English.
